The series itself is based on the hit light novel series of the same name, with this particular movie being based on Natsume Akatsuki’s novel Konosuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World!Ĭrunchyroll also gave a synopsis of the film, as follows:Ī video game-loving shut-in, Satou Kazuma’s life should’ve ended when he was hit by a truck, but through a twist in fate, he ends up reincarnating in another world–and dragging the goddess, Aqua, along with him. At the time, Crunchyroll released a statement saying that they wished “to ensure the safety of the Crunchyroll team.” The English dub for the movie was originally intended for release in April 2020, but production had to be delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic. European (excluding Spain, Portugal, German, French, Dutch and Italian-speaking regions) streaming began on the site on March 25th. The company originally began streaming the Konosuba film in territories such as the US, Canada, South Africa, Central and Southern America, the Caribbean, the Middle East, and North Africa. Now, the film has officially premiered and can be viewed on all devices via Crunchyroll. On Thursday, December 31st, anime streaming site Crunchyroll announced that the English dub to the most recent Konosuba movie, Konosuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World! Legend of Crimson ( Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku o! Kurenai Densetsu) would premiere on the platform this weekend.
